First Impressions

The first day I walked into class I saw a few familiar faces. In particular I saw Hannah Costello. I knew she was quiet and sweet, but that was about it. The other day in class we got an assignment to interview a classmate. The thing about first impressions is that it's a hit or miss situation. Thankfully, Hannah's first impression from me was a major hit. Hannah mentioned that people misunderstand her because she has "resting bitch face." Behind her RBF is an independent young woman who took me by surprise. The more I got to know Hannah, the more I realized she wasn't just a quiet, sweet girl. She has very strong opinions, is a great talker, and a new friend! Hannah's love for animals stood out to me the most...not only because she works at a vet, but because she actually rescued a cat from being put down! Being an animal person myself, you already know I made a new friend. As we talked some more Hannah told me her role model was her mother. Her mother is very independent (just like her) and if it wasn't for her mom she would never get anything done. The way she talked about her mom is how any mother would want their children to describe them. Hannah said she has very few friends but her mother is always there to pick her up when she's down and is always around to get her nails done. Hannah also mentioned her sister who seemed very near and dear to her heart. Hannah has a very unique personality to say the least. Mostly because she is insane when it comes to cleaning but every story she told about it made me laugh. She said that when they go on family vacations she likes to watch the cleaning people as they clean their room. She has a sense of humor like no other and has a very contagious smile. One of the questions I asked was, "What is one thing on your bucket list?" She replied  with asking if I knew the show Tiny Houses and I of course answered with a huge YES! Hannah then went on explaining how she dreams to live in a tiny house and travel. She said at first it could be a year and eventually turn into a permanent home! When Hannah get's older she wants to work as a special education teacher in elementary schools. That shows me she has a caring, patient personality and it's very inspiring! It takes a certain person to work in that profession and I think she will be great in it! Overall my first impression of Hannah was that she is a warmhearted, comical, and loyal person who I'm so glad I got the opportunity to get to know better.

  1. Hannah seems really cool. I'm familiar with RBF, sometimes I have that myself so it gave me laugh to read that. I did not know that other people enjoyed watching "Tiny Houses" so that is awesome. Hannah seems interesting, and Olivia, you definitely wrote very well about her!
